Medical records, 1861-1865, 1861-1863.

Two journals and a printed booklet relating to Confederate medical activities. One volume was kept by Robert J. Freeman on board naval vessels in the Mississippi River in 1861-1862 and in the Savannah River in 1862-1863. A second volume lists medical rules and regulations for 36 Confederate hospitals in Virginia; many entries were made by William A. Carrington. The printed booklet contains unused soldiers' passes.
